“The best boots aren’t just worn — they’re lived in. That’s where their beauty begins.”
– Edward Harrington, Founder
Built by Hand. Built to Roam.
Each pair of these boots is handcrafted in our Devon workshop, where heritage meets hardwearing practicality. We start with brushed sand suede — oiled for durability, yet soft to the touch — and stitch it into a high-rise moc-toe pattern that pays homage to classic workwear silhouettes. The wedge sole offers all-day cushioning, while rust-proof eyelets and a full leather lining ensure they’re made to outlast the seasons.
Why You’ll Love Them
1. Featherlight Feel, Heavy-Duty Grip
The Vibram-style wedge sole may look subtle, but it delivers excellent shock absorption and traction — ideal for city days or country rambles.
2. Form That Follows Function
The moc-toe stitching isn’t just handsome, it’s practical — adding flexibility at the forefoot and reinforcing wear-prone areas for long-term durability.
3. Suede That’s Meant to Be Worn
Weather-treated, but not over-processed, this sand suede welcomes a bit of wear. Every mark becomes part of your story — the sign of a life well-lived.
The Moc-Toe Legacy
Moc-toe boots take their name from "moccasin" — with U-shaped stitching across the toe, they were originally worn by American labourers for their comfort and strength. We’ve given ours a Harrington spin: cleaner lines, premium suede, and a more refined shape. Still rugged, but smarter.
Easygoing by Nature
Pair with selvedge denim and thick socks for a proper off-duty feel, or team them with cargo trousers and a flannel shirt for a touch of vintage outdoorsman. Roll up the hem — these boots were made to be seen.
